Exhibition design
In April 2015, Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) engaged Blackwells Design Co. to develop a museum for their new global headquarters. Over the next 14 months, I was a senior part of the Blackwells team involved in the creation of MOFOS – Museum of Our Story.
MOFOS consists of nearly a kilometre of visual stories installed in FCTG’s global headquarters at Southpoint, in Brisbane. The story of FCTG is over four decades long. It’s a great big story. The company has around 20 000 people in 14 countries around the world and more than 40 brands.
Through story telling, MOFOS connects FCTG’s people with the company’s evolution to date, its current and next chapters, and its culture of ownership, egalitarianism and irreverence. It was an honour to work alongside the great people at Blackwells Design Co. on this once in a lifetime project.

Level 9 – ‘In the Headlines’ story, highlighting famous FCTG headlines over the years. Includes extruded panel with interactive video, framed and canvas mounted magazine covers and acrylic type.
Level 10 – Zoom in timeline 2000 – 2004. Extruded panels and acrylic type headline.
Level 5 – Zoom in timeline 1973 – 1979. Extruded centre panel with interactive video stories, acrylic type. Elsewhere canvas mounted pictures and framed archival material.
